I don't remember a year that I have ever looked forward to Spring so much. This year is seems like my 2 kiddos have been sick with some sort of ailment almost every week since Christmas and I am longing for sunshine and flowers. Tonight Frank brought home daffodils that my mom bought me. I immediately put them in a vase in my kitchen...a sign of Spring! Thanks MOM!! : )
Is it so small a thing To have enjoy'd the sun, To have lived light in the spring, To have loved, to have thought, to have done...

George meet McSteamy
I had 2 doctor appointments today. Most of you would say "oh, you poor thing" but if you could meet my doctors you would know what an interesting day I have had. First let me tell you why I was there....I have really bad migraines and not just the kind that your friend says she has when she doesn't want to get in bed with her hubby. No friends, these have been lasting for 2 and 3 days and refuse to move off of the left side of my head. No Asprin, Advil or Rx med is working so I had two appointments in hopes of getting some relief.
Back to my doctors. Doctor #1 seriously looks like George Castanza from Seinfeld and is the nicest man. He is a Psyiatryst(sp) and he and I are discussing Botox injections for treatment of my migraines. Doctor #2 is my McSteamy: ) and no I will not share. He is the cutest thing and I even forgave him after he ordered up a shot of Toradal for today's migraine that needed to be injected into my rear!! I'm feeling a little better. Maybe one more visit to McSteamy's : ) to look and wipe up the puddle of drool from the floor.

Feeling Weary
If GOD had speed dial (other than prayer) I am sure I would always be on it. And I wonder how he would feel when I called. "It's Erin, again", "She's tired", "The kids are sick", "She has a migraine". I wonder if that's how the doctor's office felt today when I called about Megan. Yes, Megan. I *think* she may have swallowed a plastic skrew from one of Mitch's toys. I had my back turned and I heard Mitch yell, "that's DISGUSTING Megan!" and she had thrown up. The thing is, I don't know if she threw up the skrew because 3 of them had throw up on them. So I had to call the doctor and talk to my favorite nurse who knows me by first name by now. Short version...we just have to wait and she if anything passes.
So I was feeling slightly judged today and very weary and trying to remember the verse from a devo about such a thing that just might help...
Come to me, all you who are weary and weak, and I will give you rest.
