Thanksgiving weekend

We had a great long Thanksgiving weekend. Frank took all 4 days off and we got lots of time to spend together as a family. The actual holiday was great and this year we spent the afternoon with Frank's parents and enjoyed time in their basement with the kids watching Bambi and Mitch eating TWO pieces of pumpkin pie! On Friday we went to see Bolt and Mitch loved it. Now our poor dogs Mazie and Gordon are being retrained by Mitch to become super dogs like in the movie(once you see it you'll understand) and you'll her him tell Mazie "super jump Mazie, come on!" It's cute but I feel kind of bad for Mazie and Gordon who just look at him like, "seriously?!". The rest of the weekend was spent with family and relaxing before returning to the routine of the week. Our week will be a little different around here. Tonight Frank left for Seattle for a week on a business trip. He hasn't been gone on a long overnight in years and the kids are all messed up. Mitch has an attitude the size of Seattle and Megan just plain 'ol doesn't want to go to bed(she is up there screaming while I write this). I hope it gets better because we have 5 more nights to go. A hot bath and a book is sounding pretty good right now. Happy turkey (and stuffing) weekend to you all!
