To brag about

It's been a long week and when I talk to other moms it sounds like something is in the air because many kiddos have had a rough week. Maybe it was daylight savings time or the gorgeous full moon but whatever it was my nerves have been just about shot. And then there I was cleaning up the bathroom this afternoon after a long day of "but mom" and "why mom"s when I heard Mitch talking in his room. It wasn't talking really but him reading a book out loud to himself. In the midst of all my grumbling God blessed me with a humbling moment and I just stood out of his eyesight and listened in amazement as he read the entire book to himself. When he was done he close it and said, "wow, I did it" and went on with his boy things. What a great kid!
