Mitch and Megan outside the Children's MuseumToday we celebrated Mitch's last day of summer vacation with a trip to the Children's Museum, but since school starts tomorrow, first we did our "drive by and breakfast" tradition. This means we get up and get ready for school, but we just drive by the school, and then head right on over to Village Inn for breakfast. The kids love this, and then they are happy for whatever the day may bring, and the fact that they had to get up at 6:30am on their last day of vacation. Mitch picked the Children's Museum as his last hurrah for the summer and it was lots of fun. They are at such great ages for that place. At bedtime we counted down 5-4-3-2-1 when we turned off the lights, and even I was sad summer vacation was over for the year. Oh, well, till next year. Tomorrow it's onto first grade!
